Georgia Kime

January 19, 1926 — September 27, 2015

Georgia Faye Wright Kime, 89, of Anthony, passed away peacefully at home, September 27, 2015. Born in Island, KY, January 19, 1926, she had been a Naples resident for 32 years in which she worked for Collier County Public Schools as a bus driver for 24 of those years.  She also attended Grace Lutheran Church in Naples.  Our Grandmorther was a spunky, quick witted gal that had a great love for her children, grand, great and great-great grandchildren.  Some of her favorite activities were card and board games with especially fierce skills in scrabble.  She was also known for her signature red colored nails in which her special name for the color will remain a family secret.  She always carried an optimistic attitude and smile that was uplifting and infectious to all that knew her.  Before every meal she would always include prayers for those that were sick and those in need of help.  She is predeceased in death by her loving husbands, Donald H. Wright of Naples, FL and Martin A. Kime of Otisco, IN; her daughters, Saudra Ortega, Vicki Studstill (Preston) and Donna Hoover-Kephart; and also her grandson, David Marlowe (Gloria).

She leaves behind her surviving daughter, Bobbie Turner (Richard); and 11 grandchildren, Robyn Smith (Vince), Christopher Marlowe (Laura), Kimberly Folger (John), Donald Lamb (Kelly), Brandy Seaman (Josh), Troy Ortega (Courtney), Alissa Schmitz (Mark), Heather Ortega (Joel), Tiffany Hogan, Chad Hogan and Cheyenne Hogan.  She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother to 23 and Great-Great Grandmother to 3.

She kept her sense of humor until her final days.  One of her says was "See you here, there or up in the air."  She leaves behind many fond memories for those that were blessed to have her in their life.  She will be deeply missed.

A celebration of her life will be held at Countryside Funeral Home, 9185 NE Jacksonville Rd., Anthony, on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
