Gerald Ray Sherrer

Gerald Ray Sherrer, age 72, of Fort McCoy, Florida, passed away on December 31, 2023.  He was born on January 24, 1951 in Cairo, Georgia. Son to the late Rufus P. and Agnes V. (Folsom) Sherrer.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 54 years Sharon (Carroll) Sherrer, son, Travis (Tammy) Sherrer, daughter Becky (Fred) Fort, Grandchildren Brandon (Heather) Coon, Shelby Fort (Hunter) Amy Sherrer, Wyatt Walker, Cheyenne Walker and Savannah Walker, Great- Grandchildren Clayton and Trenton Coon. He was a hard-working businessman and loved every minute of it, he had many hobbies but Deer hunting, Riding the Airboat and spending time with his family were a few of his favorites. He impacted everyone that he met and will be remembered by all the great memories.

A Celebration of life is planned for a later date.
