Ocala - Grover Cleveland Faison Jr, 71, passed away on August 24, 2019.  He was born on December 11, 1947 to Grover Cleveland and Clara Margaret Faison in Ocala, Florida.  He enjoyed cooking, farming, hunting and spending time with family.  His children and grandchildren were the light of his life.  To him there was nothing better then being called Daddy and Papa.  His top priority was always making sure everyone was taken care of.  His favorite saying was, "You got to stay with the ship" meaning you have to stick with whatever your doing and see it through; which is something he strongly instilled in both of his children.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Meaghann Elizabeth Pridgeon (Daniel); son, David Grover Faison (Cheryl); brother, Albert "Buddy" Faison; sister, Lucy Davis and three grandchildren; Gracey Margaret & Clara Mariam Faison and Brooklynn Elizabeth Pridgeon.
