Gudrun Esther Clarey

Gudrun Esther Clarey passed away at home on January 20, 2025. Born January 10, 1934 in Germany, the daughter of Willi Vogel and Maria Barbara Wiegand. 

She was preceded by her husband James P. Clarey. She leaves behind her son, Hermann Ersch and daughters Monica Perez and Barbara (Russ Romaine) Clarey-Romaine. 5 Grandchildren,10 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren, sister Marliese Perkins and many nieces and nephews.

Gudrun was known as Gramma and Oma by anyone who knew her. She had many different careers during her lifetime, but mom and gramma were her favorites. She loved her Grand-dog Josie May, and they spent many days together watching tv or eating butter bread. She loved watching Wrestling every chance it was on. She loved spicy foods, one of her favorite foods to eat was chicken wings, the spicier the better.

Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at the Church at Triple Cross Ranch on a future date.
