Guy Bartell

Mr. Guy Paul Bartell 62, of Franklin, North Carolina and Ocala, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 21, 2015.  He was born November 8, 1952 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Fred and Danielle Bartell of Reddick, Florida.  After graduating high school, he joined the United States Army and served his country for 12 years.  Upon his discharge he opened Guys Top Hat Chimney Sweep, servicing North Georgia and Western North Carolina.  He was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed time camping.  He is survived by his three children, Jordan (Alyson) Bartell of Coral Springs, FL, Alyson (Adam) Citrin of Coral Springs, FL, Emily Bartell of Asheville, NC, brothers Alan (Pat) Bartell of Reddick, FL, Brian (Julie) Bartell of Sylva, NC, Roger Bartell of Cedar Key, FL, granddaughters Lexi and Peighton Bartell of Coral Springs, FL.  Services will be announced at a later date.  We would like to thank Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL, for handling the arrangements.  Any memorial can be made in his memory by sending a donation to The Shands Hospital for Children at UF, UF Health Office of Development, PO Box 100386, Gainesville, FL, 32610-00386, or online at www.donate.giving.ufhealth.org.
