Harley Wilson

Harley Richard "Dick" Wilson, 84, passed away on August 10, 2022 in Ocala, FL. He was born August 31, 1937 to Lawrence James Wilson and Margaret Louise Smith in Plattsburg, NY and moved to FL when he was in his teens. He retired from the Division of Forestry. If you knew Dick you knew his hobbies included "Wilsonizing" everything that didn't meet his standards or his needs.

He is preceded in death by his parents, late wife Dollie Wilson, brother Clifford Wilson and great grandson Collin Hovis.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Wilson; daughters, Sandy Swift (Rodney) and Beverly Robinson (Neil); son, Kenneth Wilson; brother, Gordon Wilson. He has 3 grandchildren, Stephanie Walker (Carlos), Brandi Swift and Darren Swift; 2 great grandchildren, Casey Hovis and Abi Walker, along with his two furbabies, Molly and Lexie.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Countryside Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Marion County Humane Society in his memory.
