Harold Caldwell, 83, of Citra, Florida passed at 3:45pm on June 15, 2022, at Advent Health in Ocala, Florida. He had just celebrated his 83rd birthday the previous Sunday.
Harold leaves behind his wife, Judy, sons Jesse, Otis, Steven and Mark Caldwell, and Bill Sweeny, and daughters, Sondra Eastman, Barbara Jackson, and Lisa McIntosh; Twelve grandchildren, fifteen great- grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild and several nieces, nephews. Also surviving are two sisters, Bonnie Meadows and Ruth Hatton, and one brother, Will Caldwell Sr.
Harold wore many hats throughout his years. A veteran of the US Army, he also was an auto mechanic, landlord, and most recently a prolific fence builder in the Ocala area for decades. When Harold wasn't doting on his kids and grandkids, he could almost certainly be found, without exception, out on Orange Lake catching specks and making up fishing stories. Never at a loss for words, he could talk for hours about fishing, his life experiences and his family. He is preceded in passing by his parents, Otis and Arminda Caldwell, his son Michael Caldwell and daughter Debbie Patrick.
A celebration of life will be held at his daughter, Sondra Eastman's house, Saturday, June 25th at 12pm.
