Ocala - Harold Mock, loving husband, father and grandfather, 79, passed away September 22, 2015 at Hospice, The Legacy House. Born March 4, 1936, in Wabasa, Florida to Charles Mock and Cleo McKinney Mock. After graduating from Fort Pierce High School, he served in the United States Army. He was a millwright by trade and worked several years in Louisiana for the oil industry. He retired with Royal Oak, Ocala, in 2000. Harold never knew a stranger and was known for his generous heart and kind spirit. He enjoyed spending time with his family, including his devoted dog, Carmen. He also took great pleasure maintaining his beautiful yard. He leaves behind his wife and best friend Marilyn Mock; son, Russ Blair (Darlene) Ocala; daughters, Marni Pond (Harry) Ocala, and Sharon Phillips (Tim) St. Augustine; grandchildren, Cody Cannady (Kelsey), Courtney Coughlin (Sean) and Sarah Pond (Reynolds); and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marion County Humane Society in his honor are greatly appreciated.
