Hazel Gene McLeod

Hazel Gene McLeod, age 103, of Ocala, Florida passed away on October 9, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 26, 1920 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan a daughter to the late Glenn and Hazel (Rawlins) Brasington. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Jennings McLeod, a daughter Joan McLeod, brothers Wade Brasington, Richard Brasington, Jim Brasington, Frank Brasington, and sister Fern Morris. She leaves behind to cherish her memory a son Ralph (Darlene) McLeod, two daughters Dawn (Larry) Gray, Deborah (Bill) Repass, brother Joe Brasington, sister Faye Brasington, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Countryside Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in her honor at Fairfield Baptist Church on October 20th at 10:30am.
