Helen Jane Hart Woodham, 85, wife of the late William Malcolm Woodham was called into Christ’s presence February 9, 2022. A native of Ocala, Florida, daughter of the late Mac C. and Linnie Fore Hart, she was a homemaker, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Mayflower Society, and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a son, William Karl Woodham (Diane) of Greer, South Carolina; a daughter, Amy Laura Mirabal of Hilo, Hawaii;a brother, Rev. Joseph Hart of Dothan, Alabama; a sister, Leota Parker of Ocala, Florida; ten grandchildren, Karl, Kristen, Angelica, Travis, Anthony, Ryan, Nathan, Justin, Joseph, and Nicholas; and six great-grandchildren, Paislee, Isaac, Liam, Anaia, Carson and Theo.
Helen was predeceased by one sister, Marie Wilder, and a half brother Ernest Hart.
Helen will be remembered as a faithful and loving wife and mother, a joyful Christian with a genuine love for the Lord which was evidenced by her care and generosity towards others. She had a talent for singing and loved expressing praise to God through music and singing gospel hymns with friends andfamily whenever she had opportunity. Loved by her family and friends, she will be missed. We know that she is praising her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ now in heaven with so many other friends and family members that have gone before. We, as fellow Christians can take comfort that we will someday be reunited with her in Glory.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 15, at 3:00 pm at Anthony Cemetery, in Anthony, FL. Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon, 1:00 – 2:45 pm, at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
