Ocala – Irene B. Nasworth was born on July 25, 1931, in Red Bluff, California, and went to be with family and friends June 29, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, James Marvin Nasworth, who died in 1992, her parents and her sisters.
She worked for Super Bowl Lanes (now known as Bowlmor AMF Galaxy West), she was a league secretary for many years until health prevented her from participating. She was a member of the OWBA Hall of Fame inducted for meritorious service and served on the OWBA Board of Directors for many years.
She is survived by her daughters, Ellen (Paul) Blankership, Gail (Charlie) Broaderick, Debbie (John) Whitten, Dalaree Nasworth, Beth (Scooter) Jones; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held later. A Celebration of Life will be 4:30 p.m., July 25, 2015, at Northgate Diner, 4742 NW Gainesville Rd., Ocala, FL (401-0900). In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations to be made to Legacy Hospice House memory of Irene. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home.
