Ocala – Jake Taylor Watts Sr. (J.T.), 79, passed away October 25, 2015. Born December 21, 1935, in Wayne County, West Virginia, to Scott and Nancy Watts. He was a Coal Miner and Mingo County Deputy Sheriff. He moved here from West Virginia in 1987. He was a loving Husband, Dad, Papaw and friend he will be missed by all who knew him. A faithful servant of the Lord for 39 years and Deacon of Southern Home Old Regular Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Scott and Nancy Watts; brothers Leon Watts and Scott Watts; and his father-in-law, Elder Tommy Adair Sr; survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ima Jean Watts; sons, Jake Taylor Watts Jr. (Betty), Chris Watts Sr. (Kim), Tommy Scott Watts (Caurina), Joseph Watts (Kathryn); daughters, Noreen Watts, Lora Lynn Wilkerson (Matt); sister, Bessie Stollings; grandchildren, Nakia Crossley (Brian), Jake Taylor Watts 3rd (Tiffany), Samuel Watts (Magan), Chris Watts Jr. (Erica), Seth Watts (Rachel), Hope Winters (Josh), Joshua Watts, Spring Bradley (John), Alysha Serrano (Robert), Micheal Dansereau, Taylor Strickland, twelve great-grandchildren, mother in law Margret Adair numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at the Southern Home Old Regular Baptist Church, 14748 N Magnolia Ave, Citra, FL 32113. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 29, 2015, Thursday, at the Southern Home Old Regular Baptist Church, with Elder Billy Adair officiating. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Southern Home Old Regular Baptist Church.
