Anthony – James A. Carlsen passed away at Sylvia’s House on October 11, 2015. Born December 4, 1937, in Union, NY, he moved to Anthony from West Palm Beach. He was previously a machinist, but how most remember him is by his love and devotion to his wife, Carol Marie Carlsen, whom passed away in April, 2015. James, known to all as Jim, took care of Carol for many, many years. He loved making her smile and would do anything to make her days a little brighter. They were married for 57 years and his love for Carol never faded. He was an inventor and always wanted to make things better in his way and he was truly a blessing to all that knew him. Jim is survived by his brother, Richard Carlsen; his children, Kenneth Carlsen and Kathryn Carlsen; grandchildren, Ashley and Dennis Barnett, Sara and Billy Pressely, Adam Carlsen, and Byron Carlsen, as well as three great grandchildren, and many others not listed.
