James Peter Donnan

James "Jim" Peter Donnan, age 75, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on January 27th, 2024. He was born on June 15th, 1948 in Marlborough, Massachusetts, a son to the late James J. Donnan and Catherine M. Owens. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother Michael Donnan. Jim retired from General Motors, Marion Citrus Mental Health and the State of Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. Jim was passionate about his job and loved the people he worked with. Jim was also a retired Veteran of the United States Army and was discharged honorably after 24 years. Jim had a heart of gold and was loved by so many people. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 29 years Sandra (Bennett) Donnan, two sons Matthew Donnan, Brian (Andrea) Donnan, two daughters, Angela Swiderski (Chris Eckard), Crystal (Jonathan) Ingram, a sister Cathy (Tom) Porter, nephew TJ (Becca) Porter and nine grandchildren: Dylan Swiderski, Ayden Swiderski, Christopher Eckard, Julia Donnan, Chase Ingram, Liam Donnan,Danica Ingram, Madisyn Eckard, and Josiah Teague.
