James Evan

James Alvin Evans was born November 18, 1952, to William  and Olive B. Evans in Miami, Florida. He passed away on April 20, 2017, in Ocala, Florida.  James was raised by his loving parents and ten other siblings.  He received his education at Lillie C. Evans Elementary, Dorsey Junior High and Miami Northwestern Senior High School.  He had several jobs through out his life including repairing computers where he received a certificate at Miami-Dade Junior College for completing a course in Computer Programming and Networking.  James was very intelligent, kind and loved people very much.  Some of his hobbies were fishing, reading, playing games and talking with family and friends.  James was and always will be someone very special to all of us, we will cherish those good times in our heart.  He knew how to make his worse day into a better day (with a smile).  You were always kind and gave your best, very strong and independent.  We are so glad that he had a wonderful friend who was there for him through all the bad times.  Seeing James always made you smile because life was not always easy for him.  We loved him and we will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by caring parents William and Olive Evans; brothers Billy, Elijah Evans; sisters Minnie and Grace Evans

Left to cherish his memories brother Clyde Evans; Sisters Martha, Mattie, Peggy, Theresa Evans, and Betty Hicks; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and many other friends and family, and a very special friend Santa Salva.
