James Smith Jr.

James “Jimmy” Smith, Jr 56 of Reddick, passed away suddenly on July 22, 2024 in Ocala. There will be a celebration of life at the Anthony Women’s Club, 2120 NE 95th Street on August 10th from 11-1. It will be a pot luck style meal so feel free to bring a dish. 

Jimmy was born in Ocala to Jim and Betty Smith on January 29,1968. He went to school at North Marion High School graduating in 1986. He was married to Julie Smith on May, 25 1996 in Ocala. He worked for A2Z Pest Control. He was an enthusiastic geocacher and was ranked #7 in the state of Florida. He was always smiling and happy to help others. He loved to travel and had visited all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, Germany, the Netherlands and many Caribbean islands. He will be forever missed.
