Lowell – Ed Workman, 74, passed away peacefully at home, March 17, 2016. Born on October 2, 1941 in Chatteroy, W. VA to Nimrod Workman and Molly Bowens Workman, he moved to Marion County from here in the 60s. He was a coal miner and also foreman for thoroughbred farms.  Ed Workman was known as "Pop" to everyone. He loved spending time with his family and he loved the lord.  He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents and son, Mark Edward Workman. He is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Workman; son, Brian Workman (Heather); daughters, Terry Crawford (Tom), Sherry Workman (Rob), Toni Martinez (Danny), Renee Workman (George); eight grandchildren, Jeramie Workman, Tommy Crawford (Kristen), Jared Crawford (Sandy), Tyler Barbour (Melissa), Alex Martinez, Tiffany Seabolt, Taylor Crawford, Mark James Workman; and six great grandchildren, Eben Workman, Colby Workman, Sawyer Crawford, Kylie Phillips, Rebecca Crawford and Thaddeus Seabolt; brother, Tronnie Workman; and sisters, Dorothy Hamilton, Lily Lynch and Ann Rivera.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL with Pastor David Butts officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
