HOMAN, James Leslie "Jim"
Ocala - James Leslie "Jim" Homan, 81, passed away October 19, 2021. He was born November 3, 1939 in Tuscaloosa, AL, to the late Clarence and Kate Homan. He owned and operated a construction company for many years and is a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a wonderful and dedicated husband, father and papa.


He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Shirley Lowe Homan; children, Cindy Johnson (Bill), Scott Homan (Wanda), Angie Lester, Tony Homan, and Anthony Homan; and brother, Charles Homan.  Papa to a load of grandkids, CJ Tucker, Travis Tucker, Trevor Tucker (Peyton), Tyler Homan (Dallas), Hunter Homan, Walker Homan, Courtney Baker, Brooke Baker, Reagan Lester, Katie Johnson and great-grandchildren, Candler Homan, Ava Putnam, and Ella Putnam.
He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Kate Homan.


Funeral service will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Living Waters Worship Center, with Pastor John Childers officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
