Janet R Hutchinson

Janet Reichenbacher Hutchinson, 81, passed away in Ocala, FL on 28 November 2023 surrounded by her family. She lived a long and happy life. She was married to Frank Henry Hutchinson, Jr for 39 blissful years until his passing in 2010. Janet was the daughter of Elizabeth Genevieve Reichenbacher and Merle Paxton Reichenbacher, born on 11 February 1942 in Aurora, Illinois. Her brother, Richard Gunzenhauser Reichenbacher and her sister Marianne Reichenbacher Harrell Wingate pre-deceased her. While in Illinois, she and her mother had a soda fountain and bakery in their basement. She also helped her mother with architectural design of many houses including Mr. Frank Sinatra. She also traveled the country with her dogs in her VW Bug. Her love was Great Danes and had many of them. She was on the Board of Directors for the Central Florida Great Dane Organization. She also had many other animals including squirrels, cats, a raccoon and even a kangaroo named Jumper After moving to Florida in 1959, she became a bookkeeper for 50 plus years, she was a seamstress, an artist, a clothing model for several well-known department stores, a great cook and a wonderful mom to 3 great kids. She was the duct tape that held the family together, and even kept the books for her daughter, Marianne and Grandma’s Country Pharmacy in Fort McCoy for 19 + years. She was catholic by faith and attended Blessed Trinity Catholic Church for almost 12 years. She was a part of Christ Renews his Parrish. Her sister Nancy Winfree survives her along with son Randolph and daughters Marianne and Rebecca. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed and will survive in our hearts for many years. Cremation services have been assigned to Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, Florida.
