Fort McCoy – Janis Marie Brown, 82, passed away February 10, 2016 at the Ted and Diane Brandley Hospice House. Born November 17, 1933, in Fort McCoy, Florida, to Clarence Hogan and Mazie Verner Hogan, she was a resident of Marion County all her life. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Conrad Brown; son, Andrew Norcross and brother, Raymond Price. She is survived by her sons, Terry Norcross, Gary Norcross (Linda), Tim Norcross (Delia); daughter, Tina Wettstein (Chip); brother, Norman Price; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL with Pastor Frank Jesup officiating. Interment will follow in Fort McCoy Cemetery.
