Jeffrey A. Rayser, 51, passed away February 29, 2016. He had been a resident of Reddick since 2004. He was born in Staten Island, NY and spent his youth in Medford, NJ and is a graduate of Shawnee High School. He was a US Navy Serviceman for seven years.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Natalie; mother, Jeanne Woodford; father, Paul Rayser. His late grandparents were Elizabeth and James Woodford.
Jeff was an avid horseman and dog trainer. He and Natalie volunteered their time rescuing domestic and wildlife animals. The natural world was a part of Jeff’s life as he spent his younger years hiking, canoeing, kayaking and riding dirt bikes in the NJ Pine Barrens. His love of country and commitment to the community means he will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society or Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge.
The family will receive friends at a reception beginning at Noon in the Parlor followed by Memorial Service with Military Honors beginning at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church Chapel, 1126 E Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL with Rev. Dr. John Few officiating.
