Latham Sr., Jerry Randolph, 74 Belleview, FL. Passed away at home on May 3rd , 2017, on his terms!! Just like he lived his life. He was born August 3rd, 1942 in Ripley, Tennessee.
He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Lois Janette (Jones) Latham, Daughters Janet Adele Diiorio (Sal), Laura Lea Moon (Joe) and son Jerry Randolph Latham Jr., His bothers Jimmy Latham (Becky) and Ed Latham (Judy) and his sisters Sylvia Harrell (James) and Pearl Reynolds (Phil). His Grandchildren, Paul, Sal, Jordan, Amber, Jake, Skylar, Hayle, Luke, Seth, & Dylan. And His Great-Grandchildren, Bryan, Brett, Bradley, Bruce , Isabella, Aurora, Leo, Declan, Eli, Luca and Willow. He had many nephews, nieces, and loving family members and friends that will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, George Washington Latham, his mother, Tilda Walker Latham, his brothers, Donald (Buddy) Latham, Tommy Latham, & Eugene (Gene) Latham, sisters Lillian Blankenship and Louise Cross.
Jerry was a self-taught Chef, he worked in diners and restaurants when he lived in Miami, Florida and when he moved to Marion county, he became the executive chef at two fine dining restaurants, The Foxfire and The Coach and Paddock , winning the golden spoon award on several occasions.
A celebration of Jerry’s life is planned for a later date.
