Jimmy Jackson

Jimmy Jackson, 89, of Ocala, went to his eternal home on December 21, 2022.
Jimmy was born on December 9, 1933, to James and Lila Jackson of Eastman, Georgia.

At a young age, he and his family moved to Ocala, where he lived most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He loved sharing his love for fishing, woodworking and working in his yard with his family.  His greatest desire was that everyone would know the God he loved and served!

Jimmy leaves behind to treasure his memory, son Rick Jackson (Julie), daughter Tammy King (Brad), grandchildren Brian (Shelby), Kevin (Carley), Hunter (Samantha), Andrew (Amber), Brooke (Taylor), Chase (Rachel) and Caydee, 13 great-grandchildren and sister, Judy Gussler.  He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Lila, brother Jack Jackson, and just recently, his wife of 67 years, Allene.

A memorial service to celebrate this wonderful life will be held Saturday, January 7th @ 11:00am, with a family visitation @ 10:30am, in the Chapel at College Road Baptist Church, 5010 SW College Road, Ocala, led by Dr. Ed Johnson.
Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with  the cremation arrangements.
