Jimmy Lea Tucker Jr (JL) of Ocala, FL, passed away on Tuesday, January 29th at Shands Hospital after a 7 month fight against anaplastic thyroid cancer. He was born on January 21, 1971 in Ocala, FL to Marion Fay Tucker and Jimmy Lea Tucker Sr. He was a graduate of Vanguard Highschool, class of 1989 he attended college at CFCC and was an AFC certified mechanic. JL is proceeded in death my his dad Jimmy Lea Tucker Sr., and survived by his Mother Fay Tucker of Ocala, his sister Katie Williams of Wilmington, NC, his fiance Isabella Sanchez, his niece Marion, nephews, Trey and Tucker and brother in law Chip Williams, along with family and friends. JL worked for the Marion County Growth Services Department, in planning and zoning for many years, there was no end to joy he found in his job, and those wonderful friends he worked with. JL, was passionate about real estate investing and the thrill that came along with it, as well as the thrill of building racecars with his and dad, and drag racing every chnace he had as a young man. He was devoted to his fiance and to his family. JL was a good man with a heart of gold and was the most honest person we have ever known. He will be loved forever by Isabella along with his entire family and friends.
Services for JL will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints, 1831 SE 18th Ave, Ocala FL at 11am on Saturday, February 3, 2019. Graveside ceremony will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 5740 South Pine Ave.
In lieu of flowers JL would prefer donations in his name to NFCR, Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer Research Fund, or to The TRUMP 2020 presidential campaign!! Love to you all!
