Fort McCoy – Joanne Laverne Manes, 83, passed away February 22, 2016. Born September 12, 1932 in Laurium, MI, to Armand Kangas and Lucile Guibord. Joanne and Bruce have resided in Florida since 1984.
She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Jerry K. Manes. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Julius Bruce Manes Jr., her sister Sue Gambrel as well as daughters Jeannie Butler, Joanne Coryell, Janet Lindsey, Julie Manes, Jackie Owen, Laura Gerrard, Lynn Gee and son Jeff Manes. Her memories will live through her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will all miss her deeply.
Memorial Service will be held at 1pm, Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Salt Springs Christian Church, 24100 NE CR 314, Salt Springs, FL 32134 with Tom Reamsnyder officiating.
