Ocala - Jonathan William Paugh, 33, passed away on October 30, 2016. Born in Orlando, Florida on July 7, 1983 to Dr. Mark and Diane Paugh. Jon spent his formative years in Gettysburg, PA at Lake Heritage, which strengthened his love for fishing and boating. After completing his B.A. In History from Hood College, he relocated with his family to Marion County, where he has been a resident for 10 years. He taught 12th grade American Government and Economics at Belleview High School for 3 years, worked as a practice manager for local bankruptcy law firm, earned an M.P.A. degree and has served as an adjunct instructor in the Social Sciences & Humanities Department at the College of Central Florida.
He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Belen C. Paugh; sons, Gabriel William, Nathan Alexander, Benjamin David; parents, Dr. Mark and Diane Paugh; brothers, Douglas Allan (wife Jennifer) and Joshua Joseph. He will also be fondly remembered by nieces and nephews; Amber, Abby, Molly, Andrew and Caleb and Bella.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, Novemeber 4, 2016 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL with Joe LaCognata officiating. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
