DEPALMA, Joseph Edward "Joe"
Ocala - Joseph Edward DePalma, 83, passed away peacefully at home, September 8, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born March 18, 1939, in Vineland, New Jersey to the late Roy and Catherine DePalma.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force, and later worked in insurance and for NASA for many years.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lorraine DePalma; and brother, Roy DePalma.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Geraldine DePalma; son, Joesph Thomas DePalma (Christina); daughter, Daphne Elaine DePalma (Eric Chalker); sister, Gloria Simon (Eric); and four grandchildren, Luke, Julia, Isla, and Elena.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church with Father Patrick Sheedy officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass. Interment with Military Honors will be immediately following in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
