Joyce M. Grant

Joyce M. (Lowe) Grant, age 89, of Anthony, Florida, passed away on October 12, 2023 at
home holding her husband’s hand. She was born in Williamson, West Virginia, a
daughter of the late Walter and Bertha (Taylor) Lowe. In addition to her parents, she
was also preceded in death by her brother Tommy Lowe and sister Sandra (Lowe)
Carrouth. Joyce was retired from the Marion County schools where she worked for
many years in teaching and administration. Joyce was a lifelong member of Anthony
First Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Ocala. She will be remembered for her
love and kindness. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 71
years Luther, two sons, JW. (Debbie) Grant, Gary (Susan) Grant and daughters Ramona
(Andy) Jordan, Cathy (Jeff) Priest, fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-seven great
grandchildren as well as her sister Onieda Lowe (Wesley) Darley and brother David (Natasha) Lowe.

 A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11am, Saturday October 21 st at
Countryside. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of
Marion County, 3231 SW 34 th Ave, Ocala, Fl, 34474.
