Joyce Florence Ross, 76, of Reddick, FL formerly of Highland, NY was called home on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Joyce was born on September 17, 1941 to Marquis Van De Water and Dorothy Stevens. Mrs. Ross was predeceased by her parents and her beloved daughter Tracey Rebentisch of Carmel, NY.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 53 years, John Ross and her loving daughters Darlene Rodschat of Kingston, NY, Bobette Ross of Reddick, FL, Allison Chua and her husband David Chua of Batavia, NY and Frank Grennie her brother in law who was more like a son. She is also survived by her brother Marquis Van De Water and sister Lorraine Mapstone as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ross was a waitress for more than 35 years and a care taker for her grandchildren. She was a member of Cross Pointe Church in Ocala, FL. She loved old movies, crocheting, dancing, and telling stories of her life that will always be cherished and remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
Above all Joyce adored her grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Elizabeth (Rodschat), John Rebentisch, Marco Ross, Kian an, Ross, and Aden (Chua) and her great grandchildren Logan and Gwendolyn Rodschat and Jocelyn Fogarty.
