Jude Patrick Sheridan, 82, passed away on May 22, 2020, in Summerfield, Fl. He was born on June 15, 1937, to Philip and Florence A. Sheridan in Indianapolis, Indiana .
Jude was our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, “Papa Jude” and dear friend. We will remember him forever and words cannot express how much he will be greatly missed in all of our lives.
He had great passion for life and was a great storyteller and jokester! You couldn’t help but laugh at his jokes even if you heard the joke 1,000 times before. His laughter was contagious and it was impossible to not laugh with him.
He attended Sacred Heart School, St. Joseph’s Seminary, Butler University and was a Captain in the Air Force. After leaving the Air Force, he began his career in Consumer Product Food Sales and worked for several manufacturers before starting his own business as a Food Broker (Sheridan Sales) in South Florida. He sold his business and retired in South Florida, eventually moving to Summerfield, Florida.
His passions in life were the Catholic Church and his love of God, Lake Tahoe, golf, the beach, reading a good book, all sports including Notre Dame Football, concerts, Budweiser and spaghetti and meatballs. But above all else, he felt great joy and love by spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sandra McFerren Sheridan; daughters, Deborah Lynn Sheridan Beam, Donna Lee Sheridan, Christy Howie (Warren); sons, Mark Wellborn, Scott Wellborn (Cassi); sister, Mary Jane Sheridan; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
