Kathleen Demerath

CITRA - Kathleen Mary Demerath, 71, passed away November 3, 2020 in Gainesville, Florida. She was born July 4, 1949 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Wilford Smith and Cecelia Stephens. She was an independent beauty consultant for Mary Kay.

She is preceded by her parents; brothers, Jerry Smith, Harry Smith and Henry Smith.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Alan Jay Demerath; son, Dale Alan Demerath of Appleton, Wisconsin; daughters, Dawn Marie Fortin (Brett) of Springfield, Massachusetts and Dianna Lynn Demerath of Greensboro, North Carolina; brothers, Joseph Smith and Charles Smith both of Wisconsin; sisters, Mary Boelter of Wisconsin, Shirley Hopfensperger of Wisconsin, Charlotte Bavinck of Wisconsin and Grace Cooper of North Carolina; Half-sister, Doris Smith of Washington and 2 Grandchildren.

​In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the Florida Baptist Children's Home in Lakeland Florida.
