Lance Leitner

Lance Barry Leitner, 50, passed away on December 6, 2018.  He was born on October 28, 1968 in Ocala, Florida to Edd and Bettie (Mercer) Leitner.

Lance is survived by Toni M. Leitner, his parents, Edd Leitner (Jill) and Bettie Mercer Harvey; brother, Edward Lee Leitner (Allyson Anglin Leitner) and step-sister, Diana Harvey Monroe.  His beloved step-dad, V. F. Harvey, predeceased him.

Lance lived in the Ocala area most of his life. He ran his own business for several years, Lance Leitner Painting.  Along with his wife, they painted many well known businesses in the Ocala and Belleview area. He was a stickler for detail and took great pride in the finished project.

He was employed by Ocala Heating and Air of Ocala, OHAC. This was a job he had grown to love and considered his “Dream Job”.  He loved the owners and people he worked with and was often telling stories of clients trying to hydrate him while in their hot, hot attics.

Lance was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
