Reddick – Larry Cromwell, 67, passed away June 15, 2016. He was born in Alabama to Warren G. and Connie Wilkerson Cromwell Cole and grew up in Savannah, Tennessee. He moved with his family to Florida when he was five years old. He graduated from Titusville High School in 1966 and subsequently joined the United States Air Force. He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant and served honorably during two tours in Viet Nam and South East Asia. He attended the University of Florida and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He was so proud to be a Gator. After working for a number of years as an Accountant he discovered his calling as a Teacher. He taught at North Marion Middle School for over twenty years before he retired. He loved teaching and he loved being a daddy and a grandpa. In his retirement he became an avid gardener. He also loved dancing with his wife!
He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Martha Cromwell; sons, Howard Cromwell (Melissa), Jack Cromwell; daughter, Kellie Vanderwal (Peter); brothers, Roy Cole, Clyde Cole, John Cole; sisters, Wolf Cole and Barbara Engstrom; grandchildren, Alicia Riley, Alex, and Aiden Vanderwal, and Mackenzie Anne Cromwell; and his much loved mother-in-law, Martha Gaynelle Lockamy Hoover. Arrangements for a memorial event and interment will be made at a future date by the family.
