Hanegan, Larry Robert

Larry Robert Hanegan, 75, passed away May 30, 2021, in Ocala, Florida. He was born February 10, 1946, in Ocala, Florida to Clarence Hanegan and Ossie DeBarry. Larry worked in the Garden Center at Home Depot and Scotties for many years, before retiring. He was a member of the Ocala National Guard (Armored Calvary) Division with rank of E-5 for many years as a tanker and moved to the cook section.  Following his cremation there will be a Celebration of Life, which is planned at a later date to be announced at Our Lady of The Springs Catholic Church, Ocala

He loved golf, fishing, hunting, bowling, travel and his church. He was a member of Our Lady of The Springs Catholic Church. He was also a volunteer at Munroe Memorial Hospital (before name changed).  He loved his niece Casana Fink, with his whole heart, since Larry & Victoria were not blessed with children, she has been the light of his life from the minute she was born, in 1998. She is like his Granddaughter.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ossie and Clarence Hanegan, Sr. and brothers Clarence Jr. & Jerry Hanegan.

He is survived by his wife Victoria of 52 years and his oldest Sister Guin Nichols of Merritt Island, Florida, brothers, Clifford, Tommy, Philip, Patrick, Ronnie, and his sisters Sylvia and Vickie along with sister in laws, Selena Fink, Margaret Smith of Ocala,  Joanne Falvetta of New Jersey and Georgianna Blanco of New York and numerous nieces and nephews.
