MULKEY, Leon David

Silver Springs - Leon David Mulkey, 88, passed away November 26, 2021. He was born January 29,1933 to the late Cecil Elbert and Penny Jane Mulkey and was a life long resident of Ocala, Fl. He retired from the City of Ocala as Supervisor of Electrical Distribution.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol  Daphine Mulkey and parents. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Holmer, Donna Johns (Bruce), Jeanne Mulkey, and Kay Suess (Mark); Sister Agnes Leviner; seven grandchildren, Deanna Tharp (Jason), Christina Rock (Wain), Crystal Smith (Mike), Oren Suess (Ashley), Carl Holmer III (Rebecca), Tyler Suess (Noel), and Aaron Johns. Ten great-grandchildren, Morgen (Caleb), Abbigail, Daelyn, Madison, Weston, Bailey, Mason, Ainsley, Maybre and Ayden; and one great great-granddaughter, Elena Daphine Rose Fales .

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, December 3, 2021 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at First Baptist Church Anthony, with Rev. John Hart officiating.
