Linda Frances Fager

Linda Frances Fager, age 83, of Ocklawaha, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2024.  She was born on July 20, 1940 in Gadsden, Alabama, a daughter of Ralph Ellis Gaither, Sr. and Frances Gunter Gaither. She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Edward Franklin Fager, Sr., her brother Ralph Ellis Gaither, Jr. (Bobbi) and two sons, Andrew Taylor Fager and Terrence Michael Fager. She leaves behind to cherish her memory a sister, Shirley Snowden (Wayne) and a brother, John Gaither; two daughters, Tracey Wheelwright (Brad) and Kelley Stone (Roarke); two step-children, Frank Fager and Lori Fager (Dwayne), and numerous beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

After early jobs as a dental assistant and seamstress, she worked for over 30 years as a dental hygienist. Her hobbies included writing and crafts like sewing, quilting, crocheting and knitting. She was also well known as a fabulous cook and often catered large church events, which she loved to do.

Countryside funeral home has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements, and Linda's remains will be placed alongside her husband's and sons' in the Cleveland Memorial Cemetery in Cleveland, TX.
