GALE, Linda Lorraine

Fort McCoy – Linda Lorraine Gale, 70, passed away peacefully at the family’s home on April 9th, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. Born September 9, 1951, in Fitchburg, MA to Ernest J. Richard and Lorraine D. (Nolette) Richard. Linda met the Love of her life in 1966 in Winchendon, MA. They dated for a couple of years and married on August 3rd, 1968. They were together 53 years.

Linda and Ted, her husband, and family moved to Florida in 1972 where she resided in Fort McCoy Hog Valley area the remainder of her life. She Loved the simpler things in life such as; fishing, dancing, singing, being with and raising a family. Probably her most revealing quality was the caring for others. Making people’s lives around her happy is what she lived for. She was a fully devoted Christian Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by Daughter, Belinda Eggimann (Terry), Son, David Alleyn Gale (Crystal); Daughter, Angela Stroud Grace; Sisters, Elaine D. Kinner, Lisa M. Richard-Aho; eight Grandchildren, Derick Durbin, Samantha White, Casandra Gale-Stroud, Robbin Stroud, Makala Coleman, Gavin Gale, Caleb Gale, Patsy; and six Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11:00am – 1:00pm with the funeral service starting promptly at 1:00pm.  Saturday, April 16th, 2022 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL. followed by Grave side Burial at Ft. McCoy Cemetery, with Brother Kenny Thompkins officiating.
