Linda Louise Kendrick

January 15, 1948 — April 9, 2024

Linda Louise (Kinsey) Kendrick, age 76, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on April 9, 2024. Born February 15, 1948 and raised in Ocala, Florida, a daughter of Lawrence and Maybelle (Counts) Kinsey. She graduated from Ocala High School in 1966. She spent many years working in the classifieds at The Ocala Star-Banner. When her family moved to Georgia in 1979, she attended a college in Atlanta and obtained her degree in Medical Assisting before moving back the next year and working in a local doctor's office, before finally settling in as a homemaker. 

         

Linda loved the outdoors. She was an avid water skier in her younger years, and then shared her love for the water and outdoors by taking her grandchildren on frequent camping trips and visiting her favorite beach. She was also a member of the Belly Boyz & Galz of Ocala. She treasured those lifelong friendships, and always looked forward to their next event.  

        

 She is preceded by her husband, Bobbie Jack Kendrick; her mother, Maybelle (Counts) Kinsey; a brother, Douglas LeRoy Kinsey (Sandy); a brother in law, Jerry Lynn Kendrick (Anna); and a son in law, Ronald Amos (Shannon). 

        

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, a son; Bobbie Jack Kendrick II "Bobo", two daughters; Sherri Kendrick Walker (Timothy) and Shannon Kendrick Amos; brother in law , Dale Kendrick (Sherry); grandchildren, Haleigh, Courtney, Jared, Kendayl, Allysa; great grandchildren, Barrett, Liam, Landon, Nash, Jaxson, Luca, Jamey and Savannah; nieces and nephews, Augie, Doug, Rhonda, Cayleigh, Laney, Drake, Joshua and Jeremiah, many great nieces and nephews, and many many cousins.

         

Visitation will be from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Countryside Funeral Home in Anthony, Fl.  Funeral service will be Monday, April 29, 2024, at 2:00 pm Countryside Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Kikendall officiating. Burial at Waldena Cemetery to follow.
