Lloyd "Buddy" Kinsey

Lloyd Thomas "Buddy" Kinsey age 78 of Anthony, Fl , passed away on September 19, 2022 at his home.  He was born in Scrambletown, Fl, on July 24, 1944 a son to the late Ray Ballard and Margie (Hogan) Kinsey, Sr.. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn .

Buddy was a member of the First Assembly of God in Ocala, was a 1962 graduate of the Ocala High School and was retired from the Florida Greenways and Trails where he worked as a superintendent. He was also a Master Mason and member of Marston Lodge No. 49 in Ft. McCoy. He served his country in the Army National Guard of Florida, 153rd Cavalry, 53rd Infantry Brigade.

Survivors include two sons Johnathan Kirk (Lesa) Kinsey, Brett Andrew (Christi) Kinsey, three brothers Ray "Butch" , David and Charlie Kinsey, and two grandchildren J.T. and Brooke.

A visitation has been scheduled for Thursday Sept. 29, from 5-7pm at Countryside Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday Sept. 30 at 1:00pm at the Anthony Cemetery.  Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
