Lois "Punkin" Brown

Fairfield - Lois "Punkin" Brown, 87, passed away July 1, 2016. Born November 24, 1928 in Dundee, FL to Herman L. and Amanda Taylor Anderson.  She moved here from Polk County in 1944.  She was a homemaker. Lois loved her family very much, she was a devoted wife, a special mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her sense of humor was a wonderful treat that she loved to share with others. She was a member of the Fairfield Baptist Church. Lois will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roland A. "Hambone" Brown; daughter, Susie Freeman, great grandchild Kyle, three sisters, and three brothers.  Lois is survived by her daughters, Janice James (Danny), Linda Wiley (Odis), Jackie Therrien (Marcel); brother, Ray Leon Anderson; sister-in-law Inez Guynn; brother-in-law BK Guynn; grandchildren Danny, Larry, Jeff, Scarlet, Katie, Salina, Tony, Jeffrey, Jessica, Kimberlie; great-grandchildren Brittney, Danny, Christopher, Missty, Logan, Savannah, Casey, Cassidy, Kaylee, Chloe, Cayla, Kenzi, Joshua, Jacob, Tony, Johnathan, Levi, Madison, Hayleah, Loranzo, Trevonn, Tyanna, Caleb, Raeleck;  great-great-grandchildren Wyatt, Cora, Ella, Lane, Marlee, and Macey.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m, Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Fairfield Baptist Church, with Rev. Raymond Castleberry officiating.  Visitation will be a half hour prior. Interment will follow in the Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
