Malvin Gordon

Malvin Gordon, 74, passed away January 27, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on December 11 ,1944 in Macon, GA.

Malvin is survived by his son, Melvin Lamar Gordon; daughter, Lisa Gordon; son, Robert Nunnery; brother, Oliver Kenneth (Ken) Harper, Jr (Rachael); sisters, Linda Padgett (William), Doris Poole (James), Sydney Laxton (Paul) and four grandchildren, Tonya Decker (Josh), Audrey Gordon, Jacob Gordon and Hayden Gordon.

Malvin is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Kenneth (Sid) and Evelyn (Johnson) Harper; his twin brother, Marvin Gordon; his wife Janice Gordon and their son, Marvin Leon Gordon.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Fort McCoy, with Pastor Jeff May officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior, at 3:00 p.m. A  potluck dinner, and a time of fellowship with the family, will immediately follow in the Church’s family life center.

Interment will be at Fort McCoy Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
