Mamie Jones

Mamie Alana Jones, age 44, of Anthony, Florida, passed away on April 27, 2023 at home.  She was born on December 19, 1978 in Gainesville, Florida a daughter to Larry Jordan and the late Deborah Norman Bradley.

She retired from the Marion County Sheriff's Department in 2014 after serving 12 years.  She also was a registered nurse with Hospice for many years.  She will be remembered for her deep love for family and those whom she cared for.

She leaves behind in addition to her father, her devoted husband Daniel Jones, two daughters Audrey and Faith, a brother Jared Norris, three sisters Emmy Delgado, Jordan Jordan and Lillian Class.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday May 4, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Silver Springs at 11:00am with a visitation for one hour beforehand.

The family ask that in lieu of flowers to make donations to the First Baptist Church of Silver Springs youth ministry 4-12.  You can make donations payable to First Baptist Church of Silver Springs with "4-12 Ministry" on the memo line.  The donation can be mailed to the church.
