Marcella Horrie

Ocala, Florida –

Marcella Grace “Mickey” Horrie passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015.  Mickey was born in Morris, Illinois, on April 26, 1916, to Leslie and Viola “Richards” Davidson.  She and Bob moved here in 1974 from Illinois.  Mickey was a homemaker.  She volunteered as a Gray Lady at Munroe Hospital and she volunteered at St. Marks Church for many years.  She was a mother and a caregiver to all her grand and great-grand kids.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Horrie (1986) and one grandson, David Viano (1983).  She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Joseph) Viano; grandson, Robert Viano, and granddaughter, Kay Ingrassia; four great grandchildren, Amy Viano, David and Drew Ingrassia, and Holly (Ingrassia) Hally; and one great-great grandson, Liam Hally.  Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 1839 NE 8th Road, Ocala, FL 34470.  Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 17, 2015, at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, with Reverend Susan Gray officiating.  Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL.  Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony.
