Margaret Varnes

Ocala - Margaret  Deaver Varnes, 88, passed away on July  31, 2020, in Ocala, Fl.  She was born on February 1, 1932, to John Ivey and Hester  Deaver, in Albertson, North Carolina. She retired from the Veterans Administration Medical Center as a Details Clerk.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (known as grammy) and aunt.

She is preceded by her husband, Harvey Varnes, daughter, Margaret Faye Clifton, siblings, Viola, Mary, Nancy, Anne, Johnny and Susan.

She is survived by her son, Doug Minshew (Linda), daughter, Judy Lancaster (Gary), eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 7th, 2020 at 1:00pm at First Freewill Baptist Church, 2210 NE 24th St Ocala Fl 34470 with Pastor Clark Ryman officiating.
