Marie Pauline Marquardt, 82, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2016 at The Legacy House, Hospice of Marion County in Ocala, FL. Born October 20, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA to Gordon and Elizabeth Bunch, Marie was a native of the Valley Forge & Phoenixville, PA areas, she resided in Blain, PA (Perry County), and has been a Marion County, FL resident for the past 15 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and spending time with family and friends. She was a long-time member of Salt Springs Christian Church in Salt Springs, FL.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marie is survived by her husband of 30 years, William "Bill" Marquardt; son, Andrew (Karen) Clifford; daughters, Lorraine (Keith) Wellington, Lois (Jay) Moyer, Alice (Scott) Umstead; step-daughters, Susan (Christopher) Krumenacker, Carolyn Marquardt, Joyce (Andrew) Kerman; brothers, Bob Bunch, John Bunch; sisters, Helen Ebert, Mildred Cole; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Paul T. Clifford, Jr.
A celebration of Marie’s life will be held January 3, 2017, at 2:00pm, at Salt Springs Christian Church, 24571 E. CR 316, Salt Springs, FL with Reverend Max Timbrook performing the service. Visitation will be one hour prior.
