Marion Lipps

Marion L. Lipps, 91, went to sleep peacefully on July 26, 2018 at Estelle’s Hospice House in Ocala; surrounded by her daughters and friends.  She was born on September 29, 1926 in Dunnellon, FL to Thirlon E. Smith and Nellie Grace Black Smith.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Roy A. Lipps.

She is survived by her son, Edward A. Lipps and his wife Melodi, Boaz, AL, her daughters, Betty Roberson of Ocala and Wanda Avery of St. Cloud.  She had six grandchildren:  Jennifer, Justin, Stacy, Travis, James and Theresa and 9 great grand children.

Marion was an active Jehovah’s Witness since her baptism in 1963.  She loved teaching others about God’s Kingdom and attending Christian meetings at the Central Congregation in Ocala.

She was always ready to help others and developed many loving and lasting friendships throughout her lifetime.  She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing delicious meals to share with all her family and friends.

Marion was “a one of a kind” Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend.

We will all miss her dearly!
