It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marion "Fay" Tucker. Fay lived her entire life in Ocala and attended Ocala High School. She worked in Ward Highlands elementary school cafeteria for 28 years until she retired at the age of 60. She loved, quilting, baking, canning and antiquing, but most of all she loved her family and friends.
She recently moved to Wilmington, NC in June of 2020 to be with her daughter Katie Williams, son in law Chip Williams and her three grandchildren, Marion, Trey and Tucker. Fay was born at Monroe Hospital in Ocala, FL on 3/31/1948 and passed away peacefully at Liberty Commons Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, NC 3 weeks after suffering a stroke.
Fay was the daughter to the late Edgar Thurman (Red) Reynolds and Nellie (Black) Reynolds Bellangio. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Lea Tucker Sr, her son Jimmy Lea TuckerJr, her brother Edward Reynolds and her sister Maxine Thomas. Fay is survived by her daughter Laura Katherine "Katie" Williams, son in law Robert Earl "Chip" Williams, grandchildren Marion, Trey and Tucker Williams, sister Reba White and brother Jackie Hawkins and all those who know and love her.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Monday November 28, 2022 at 12:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, followed with a celebration at Gator Joe's on Lake Weir, (formerly Johnson's Beach where Fay had her sweet 16th birthday party) Arrangements have been entrusted with Countryside Funeral Home.
