Marjorie Pavelack

April 6, 1938 — October 24, 2016

Ocala - On Monday, October 24, 2016 Marjorie K. Pavelack, closed her eyes and took her last breathe in the arms of her best friend and love of her life, her husband, Gary Pavelack.  Born April 6, 1938 in Wild Rose Wisconsin, the youngest daughter of Roman and Hattie Sarnowski Korleski.  Marge and Gary resided in Ocala since 2004.

She enlisted in the Air Force after graduation from Wild Rose High School and was stationed at Travis Air Force Base in California, where she was chased down with a gurney by a smooth talker from Connecticut who wouldn’t let her go until she agreed to a date.  They never looked back.  They were married on April 18, 1959 and celebrated 57 years of love this year.  She was the heartbeat of our family and kept everyone on schedule and taught us all to love moving as we did that so well.  Moving all over the country Marge had 4 beautiful daughters, 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren who filled her heart, not to mention tons of friends.  Life was always exciting if she was around.  Always quick with a joke or a story, if you were around her you were smiling.  It was not uncommon to come home and find friends in the house talking to her or tagging along to get pumpkins or cut down a Christmas tree or whatever adventure we might be on.

She had a huge loving heart – giving whenever and however she could.  She loved to bake and made the most amazing desserts.  At thanksgiving it was not uncommon for her and dad to cook turkeys and mashed potatoes and 30+ pumpkin pies to bring to church.

She is survived by her husband, Gary A. Pavelack; daughters, Janet Pavelack, of Oshkosh, WI, Leslie (Paul) Stroud, of Cleveland Heights, OH, Sheri-Lyn Schubert, of Cedar Lake, IN, Mary (Vince) Gallo, of Cedar Lake, IN; sisters, Alice (Joe) Micheli, of Oshkosh, WI and Helen (Jim) Cook, of Wild Rose, WI and Sister-in-Laws Marlene Korleski of Wild Rose, WI and Susie Korleski of Fort Walton Beach, FL.  Grandchildren Tim (great grandson Broc), Melissa and Jon Pavelack; Allison, Amy and Andrew (Cassidy) (Great Granddaughter – Braelynn) Feketik; Paul and Mark Stroud; Jordin and Chelsie Schubert; and Calyb & Morgan Swank and Hayley (Great Granddaughter – Sophia) Gallo.  Many many cousins, nieces and nephews and beloved friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Mary, and brothers Michael, Eugene, Jerry, George and Raymond.

We will celebrate Marge on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 9 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 5 SE 17th Street, Ocala Florida with Father Patrick Sheedy officiating.  There will be a reception immediately following in the church hall.
