Mark Patrick Meiresonne

Mark Patrick Meiresonne, age 66, of Ocala, Florida, passed away
on August 9, 2023.  Funeral service will be held at 10am on September 9 th , 2023
at Christ the King Catholic Church in Moline, IL. Visitation will be prior to
the service at 9am with a luncheon following Mass in the church hall. Per
his wishes, cremation rites were accorded at Countryside Funeral Home of
Anthony, FL following his passing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
made to the charity of your choice in Mark’s name.
Mark was born on March 17, 1957 in Rock Island, Illinois, the youngest son
of the late Rene and Catherine (VanHoe) Meiresonne.  Mark was a retired
Illinois State Trooper with 27 years of service, during which he was very
active in the Illinois FOP and served as a Vice President of the union.  Mark
was a world traveler who was able to visit India and Ireland in early 2023.
He was a wonderful storyteller, avid golfer, and an active member of his
euchre club. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 34
years June D'Souza, a daughter Katherine (Anoop) Dharma, siblings Louise
Capes, Daniel (Christine) Meiresonne, Stephen (Barbara) Meiresonne,
Gregory Meiresonne and numerous nieces and nephews.
