On May 26, 2022, Martha Jean Fritch, a lifelong resident of Ocala, FL passed peacefully of natural causes from this world to her eternal home to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven at the age of 66. Raised in the beautiful countryside of Ocala, born October 15, 1955, she was a member of the 1973 graduating class of North Marion High School, and went on to complete an Associates degree from Central Florida Community College. Her lifelong love of reading and writing was evident throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Rena and T. R. “Randy” Townsend of Martin, Florida. Married to her husband, Terry Fritch, for 20 years, they raised five children to whose home-education she dedicated her life: Leah (Lovett), Glenn Thomas, John Benjamin, Cicely (Pflieger), and Anna (Caraher). She also leaves behind three sisters: Linda, Jennifer (Danny), and Julie (Mark), numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and 4 grandchildren: Aden (14), Evan (11), Sarah (11) and Emily (8).
Martha was a pursuer of truth, researcher of natural medicine, student of the Bible, servant of her Lord, and full of helpful advice for all. She loved the outdoors, nature and sunshine. A frequent visitor of parks, she enjoyed God’s creation whether it be watching birds, admiring flowers, or going for a ride in the country. Most of all she enjoyed her family and loved gathering with her children and grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at Countryside Funeral Home in Anthony, FL on Saturday, June 4th 2022, at 10am, followed by a public funeral at 11am.
